Keep on Crossin' is an ongoing art project aimed at the immigration
experience with an emphasis on the immigrant's point of view.
In January 2003 the Keep on Crossin’ design was created as
an entry into the California quarter design competition. The design
was copied from R. Crumb's Keep on Truckin' figure fo the 1970s.
This web site's purpose is to publicize the different manifestations
the project has taken on over the years and to provide inspiration
to other artists, writers, activists and crossers whose work focuses
on the border and for whom crossing is both a practical and absolute
activity.
